The KNC and the Kalamazoo Area Wild Ones are happy to bring pollinator and garden specialists together from around the Midwest to talk to our community about the serious problems our pollinators face and the many actions you can take to help them. Our keynote is Heather Holm, author of the comprehensive book: Pollinators of Native Plants: Attract, Observe, and Identify Pollinators and Beneficial Insects with Native Plants, which can be purchased in the KNC giftshop. The morning will be filled with lectures from Heather, as well as local experts on pollinators. The afternoon sessions will be devoted to workshops, pre-registration required. Fee includes coffee (bring your own mug), lunch, and a reception. No refunds. If you find the registration fee to be cost-prohibitive to attending the training, please contact Ashley Wick at awick@naturecenter.org to discuss waiving the fee.
