Join us on this exciting Connecting Women & Nature trip! Kayak through the amazing Sylvania Wilderness Tract in the Upper Peninsula and spend 4 days camping and exploring this wilderness area. Listen to the loons at night, portage to other lakes, and hike within the area. Through self expression and nature exploration in the presence and support of other women, we will explore the learning available to us through the natural world, and our connection to it. Learn about yourself and how these natural experiences enrich our lives.
Sarah Reding, KNC's VP Conservation Stewardship and Pam Poley, ACSW Women's leader, will be your guides and come with a wealth of outdoor, kayaking and leadership experience.
All levels are welcome!
